October London Releases "Color Blind: Love" Performance Video

R&B/Soul singer/songwriter October London has made his mark in music with the release of his critically acclaimed debut EP, Color Blind: Love (Cadillacc Music), proving to have one of the most impassioned voices in the genre. Premiering on VIBE.com this afternoon, October's momentum continues with an authentic and heartfelt performance of "Color Blind" from his soon to be released complimentary short film, Color Blind: Love. In the visual, October pours his heart out on the smoky stage, expressing his love for his woman, while concurrently disregarding the foolishness that comes with societal stigmas. It's a familiar love story infused with a jazzy and timeless sound that showcases October as triple threat: singer, songwriter, and producer. "It’s a song that I love because it was how I felt at the time," October explains. "That's the thing about me. I create music on how I feel at that striking moment." Produced by Snoop Dogg, and starring both The Doggfather himself and comedian Mike Epps, Color Blind: Love, the short film, is slated for release in the coming weeks.

October London will remind you of Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke and The DeBarge brothers with his polished and refreshing style and sound. After landing a spot as an opening act for Flo-Rida in Miami, October caught the eye of Snoop Dogg and Jazze Pha, eventually signing to their label, Cadillacc Music. He released the first installment of his three-part collection, Color Blind: Love, which included the politically charged, chilling, debut single, "Black Man in America." He also performed and wrote the theme song for VH1's hit show Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, and kicked-off last year's holiday celebration on Taraji's White Hot Holidays alongside major stars including Taraji P. Henson, Missy Elliott, Tyrese, Ne-Yo, Taye Diggs, Jussie Smollett, TLC and more on FOX.
